Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Crit is built by IDYeah Studio LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't collect, and how your data is handled.
What we collect
- Your name and email address when you sign in with Apple
- The number of critiques you have run
- Your subscription status (Lite or Pro)
- Critique scores and metadata (overall score, dimension scores, date)
What we do not collect
- Your presentation or deck content
- The text extracted from your uploaded PDF
- The diagnosis or fix text generated by your critique
- Any identifying business or financial information from your decks
Your deck content is processed once to generate your critique and is never stored on our servers.
How AI processing works
When you submit a critique, your deck content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate your results. Anthropic processes this request under a zero-data-retention policy — they do not store or use your content for training. You can review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Subscriptions
Subscription billing is handled by Apple through In-App Purchase. IDYeah Studio does not collect or store your payment information. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.
Data storage
Your account information and critique history metadata are stored securely using Supabase. Critique history is also stored locally on your device. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen within the app. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
Children's privacy
Crit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by email.
